ESTD 1994

Legacy on the grounds of hygiene,
vigour and Body weight.

We started with the Monodon wild catch breeding in the early 1994. The production capacity of the hatchery was limited so was the shrimp culture in the state .The era of shrimp farming was taking shape so were we. We’ve been one of the early birds in the state for shrimp breeding.

Since then to date, we’ve seen a lot of changes. Everything is new ranging from the stocking densities to seed quality, animal resistance, feed conversion ratios, soil conditions and many more. Amidst all these we strive to adapt the best sustainable practices in our hatchery to aid you in harvesting the best crop you have ever had.

“We make sure that the post larvae seed you get is never stressed among its journey since egg hatch. We believe not just in our profits but as in our whole”

To deliver on that promise we believe in conditioning. Among all the different ranges of salinities for the shrimp to continue a stress free journey we condition the shrimp to the salinity of the farmer’s pond over a scheduled period.

It’s the live stock we’re dealing with, disease attack plays a perilous role. As I’ve mentioned earlier water parameters are monitored on regular basis, parallel to them we do understand the vitality of inspecting the feeds of the parent brooders.

We understand how vital the water parameters are for the shrimp health. Once we intake the water from sea bores we run through a schedule of 2 days to filter sea water. The filtration process includes various techniques like slow sand filters, Ev machine, cartage filters, chlorination, etc. At each section of filtration we undertake regular water samples to ensure that water quality is maintained as per the standards on a regular basis. We make sure that the water is well processed before it is finally used to stock the rearing tanks.

“Responsibility, we keep it at the core of our operations!” Our decentralised system of management ensures that each supervisor is clear of his duties and are held responsible for hygiene and efficiency.

We import the specific pathogen free L. Vannamei parent brood stocks from the CAA approved overseas suppliers. Our hatchery division is well equipped with water purification systems and has a total capacity to produce 800 million yearly and so we would assure you a minimum 40 day drying period for each larvae tank. Once we intake the water from sea water bores it is processed through a chain of filtration that would take around 2 days before they’re finally used in the section tanks. We make sure that the water is free of any harmful pathogens or viral loads and so the hygienic in tank climate is conserved.

We assure you disease resistance and growth line shrimp seedlings that would be just perfect for your commercial shrimp farming.
