Of all the player in the supply chain,
For the nuclear breeding centres its about genetics
For the hatcheries its about egg count and production levels
For the processing plats its about meat rate
For the consumers its about taste and price

And for the farmer its about growth, survival and muscle! Farmer is the one who creates value (meat produce). The cycle period of the shrimp and its health is primarily decided by the conditioning farmers provide to their grow out ponds. Our farms are spread around 80 acres of land and have access to pure bore water along with excellent soil conditions.

Feed plays a major role in the economics of the farmer and is contained of high protein value diet. The feeding is carried out around 4 times a day with a fixed schedule. however the quantity of feed might vary according to the last intake of feed.

The feeding is monitored at least 4times a day within the check trays that are evenly distributed around each pond. Along with the feed few minerals such as calcium, magnesium potassium are added when necessary to maintain the hygienic environment in the rearing ponds. Minerals and other nutrients ensure a smoother moulting patterns and muscle development for the animal.

Just like the air we breathe, shrimps survive in the water. Changes in the water parameters would stress the animal and further drastically impact the growth pattern. In our culture the PH meters, water colour, transparency, ammonia, nitrate and the dissolved oxygen levels are maintained just to the standards. We take water samples at least thrice a week to ensure that the quality of its environment is maintained throughout the cycle. The algae levels in the grow out ponds are also controlled.

We’re proud to promise that our crop is 100% steroid free. In the climate of the pond it’s always a rush between pathogens and other micro organisms to outlive each other. We use probiotics on a regular schedule to avoid excessive growth of harmful pathogens, this would also ensure a healthy microbial balance that effectively would hinder disease outbreaks.
